Good Morning! Its Day 5 of the Peak Performance Project Bootcamp and a lot of people got very little sleep last night! You could tell at the breakfast table this morning. There were 6 of us at 8:15am, and one of us *ahem Greg Sczebel, didn't even sleep at all. Yes, its due to the songwriting challenge/contest. Tardiness or even just absence for breakfast isn't really a new invention here at the PPPB. I noticed as well, along with the dwindling amount of people at breakfast, we are getting a lot quieter. The first and second day, oh man everyone was a chatty Cathy. This morning it was close to silence, and if we had not been joined by a new friend, I might not have realized it.
We here at bootcamp were joined by Oscar Furtado this morning, he was one of the 6 in the breakfast club. I met Oscar at Canadian Music Week In Toronto a few years ago, and remember how much of a super nice guy he is. He asked me about my experiences so far at camp, and I answered with trying to express how much love is going on here. Because there is SO MUCH LOVE. Everyone is helping each other, everyone is like my best friend. We are so open in learning and growing. Its pretty awesome.
I'm looking out the window at the lake from the top of the main hall, its overcast but calm. The reflection of the mountain on the water is pretty impressive. It kind of looks like a wet paint mountain tripped and fell, then pulled itself back up. And this is where lack of sleep gets ya!
