Even More Recording, "Straight Line."

Beauties,
I'm listening to the three songs I've recently recorded with Ryan Guldemond/Shawn Penner and Ryan Dahle. I'm so excited to do more and release these puppies into the world.
As far as I know, this album will be a short one: 6-7 songs. I've decided to work with different producers and musicians, to see how different people work. Next week, I'm off to Calgary to record two tunes with Russell Broom. I'm obviously super excited. Haha.
These last couple of days, I've been working with Ryan Guldemond (MotherMother) as a producer, and Shawn Penner was crazy fast engineering everything. We recorded a tune called, "Straight Line," that I wrote after a recent trip to Montreal. We recorded drums (and bells) and acoustic bass (Trevor Grant, Jeremy Holmes) and Ryan laid down some wicked grand piano the first day. The next two days were filled with acoustic and electric guitars, lead vocals, some killer trumpet (JP Carter) deeply beautiful backups vocals, (love from Stephen Hedley) & lots of random sounds.
